We were disappointed that we couldn't visit here. They have limited hours / days in the off season. Early May was a little too early.

Hi Karen, I'm sorry you were not able to visit. Our daily summer hours began May 15th. During the off-peak season we are open Friday's, Saturday's and Sundays. Our daily program schedule that includes our hours can be viewed on our website: http://www.wolf.org/visit/hours-fees-programs/ I hope you will be able to visit again in the near future. Sincerely, Carissa More

Staff was/is very knowledgeable about the wolves, very well educated. Loved that we were able to see all five wolves and then shown the two in "retirement"

Very knowledgeable speakers share facts about wolves as you watch a pack mill around in front of you. Eventually they feed them a large deer or most recent road kill or hunter donation. My teens were horrified but also spellbound as they watched the pack eat the dead deer. The guides stand with the group and answer any questions you... More

Wonderful staff. Not much to do, but beautiful place and the wolves ate gorgeous. Easy to find, not far from Arrowhead Rv Resort. Walking distance.

Was in town for the bear center but thought I would check out the wolf center as well. So glad I did. Great information and live wolves behind a viewing glass.

My life and i made a special trip to Ely, Minnesota just to visit the Wolf centre. This place should be the model for education and interpretive centres everywhere. Knowledgeable staff, great environment for the wolves and not touristy at all. They are there for the animals and their benefit alone. At $12 entry fee the value for money is... More

I have been visiting here since 2006. This center is a wonderful resource for educating people about wolves. The center has an ambassador pack of several species of wolves for people to view.

We had just 1.5 hours but we packed it full of what was offered. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and the wolves came out to say hi at the very end. The theater activities were well done and we all learned a lot.

Great place to see wolfs from a safe distance. Ha. There were two right up front when we were there. Plus they had a great Northern lights gallery show.
