Took my 8-year-old kayaking at Schulz Lake. Rates very reasonable at the Visitor Center. The lake was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by trees and a beach. It can get very busy, but we got there early.

Went here for a morning hike with our 5 year old. Paths are clearly marked, many easy quick hikes around the lakes. Nice clean swimming beach.

Great wildlife and new boardwalks through the low area. We walked about 2.5 miles and only encountered about 20 people.

We wish we would have had more time to hike some of the trails. Looks like a great place to hang out as the weather gets warmer. Hopefully our next trip will be in the warmer months.
