Everyone should get to view this scenic drive! Hills, greenery and Lake Superior at its finest! Park and walk along the shore but bring a sweater as it can change temperature quickly!

We loved north shore drive along Lake Superior. Grand Marias was well worth the visit. Our best memory was walking out on painters point! Breathtaking views!

Unfortunately we did this drive on a cloudy and cool day even though it was July. 49 degrees and rainy. I can imagine it much more enjoyable on a clear day. We actually saw some surfing at Two Rivers.

There is no Door County in Minnesota. I'm an ice cream freak and really didn't find any good ones along the North Shore.

We stayed at Cliff Dweller in Tofte a few years ago. It was a quaint little find with peaceful and beautiful views.
