We didn't have any bikes but I do know you can rent them in Duluth. So we just took a nice walk. The trail goes for miles and is completely paved. easy going to Duluth harder on the return more up hill.

Willard Munger trail is a great ride through some beautiful northern Minnesota scenery. There has been some construction the last few years due to some big storms in Duluth. But these improvements will make the trail more enjoyable in the future.

We loved the fall colours here on our wedding anniversary - just wished we had brought our bikes along although walking was good also. Since we are geocachers, we loved finding the caches along here. Would love to come back to Duluth area again!

Good morning, Sorry we did not ride that part of the trail. I would suggest calling the Jay Cook State Park Ranger's office to get the definitive answer to the question. They could also tell you if it has snowed up there... More
