Four of us thoroughly enjoyed this museum experience. I assure you, we are not the nautical types and each of us found it fascinating. They have so much material here it is overwhelming. The exhibits are well done and presented beautifully. This is a free museum and you're missing out on something great if you pass it by. Give yourself... More

Museums about ships are not in my group of interests, but this was worth my time to learn. My boyfriend really enjoyed this attraction. I enjoyed walking to the lighthouse.

This Maritime Visitor Center is fascinating. There is much to see and learn about Duluth Harbor and Lake Superior. And if you are lucky you can see one of the big ships come through the canal and under the bridge that has to lower and raise for ships and boats to get into the harbor.

Really enjoyed all of the exhibits in this museum and I'm not a real boat fan. It makes it all enjoyable and very educational. The movies really help explain what is going on in the shipping industry also.

See how the like between the iron range of MN to the steel mills. Great for the young or old who love to see ships, tugs, and what made the US great.

Lots of material and well set up. The Corps of Engineers seems to have designed this museum and it has a lot about their work in the Great Lakes area.

This was a fun little museum about boats and ships. Some of the displays were interactive, which was entertaining. Lots of models of ships. Great way to pass the time while waiting for the next ship to arrive to see the bridge lift!
