Huge selection! Everything great. Service good place clean. I wish they would bus tables quicker. Food is amazing. I think this is the best buffet in the state shrimp boiled or fried in alfreado. Prime rib. Ribs chicken fish sausage too much to list.

Sorry, but we prefer Grand Casino Hinckley to stay at. The rooms are updated and clean at Hinckley. At Black Bear the room was in need of many repairs, was smoking.

I'm from Illinois so we can't smoke in the casino's there ,so it was nice to be able to smoke inside the Black Bear. It was average as far as casino's go,but I had fun. The beer was cold and price wasn't bad either. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries to go from the Sage Deli, service was decent... More

Stayed there for a concert. The place is new and clean but way too smokey. You really can't avoid the smoke smell even on the non-smoking floors. Great concert, loved the Eli Young Band but the casino is too smokey

This was my 18yr old son's first time at a casino. We agreed to only spend $5 each. Myself, daughter, & 2 sons went in & had a blast with the $5!! My daughter & oldest boy were the big winners..lol. We each only spent $5, but had a great time!!

Food was just so-so for lunch. Only thing I loved was the Chicken Wild Rice, it was incredible. Service was sloooow, that's why I gave it a 2. We were in line for lunch on a Tuesday and the cashier at the buffet was soooo slow. Nothing new, same as weekend. The line grew longer and longer. Then it got... More

Back to visit after 18 months or so. Lots of changes and updates since last visit. All employees super nice, casino floor very open, lots of room to move about. Lots of restrooms as well.

We stayed close to this place, they offered relatively cheap eats. Some of the stuff they had was kinda good, other stuff terrible. The prime rib was ok but we had a couple different pork dishes that were so dryit was inedible. The shrimp were very good and some other things. THe next day we had the breakfast buffet...$5.99 really good value, they have... More

Wide open casino format. Slot machines abound here. Very limited number of table games for blackjack and other card games. Sunday night had $5.00 and $10.00 minimum tables. Blackjack pays 3 to 2, instead of the chintzy 6 to 5 that Vegas has gravitated to over the past number of years. Many restaurants to choose from including a buffet, steakhouse,... More

We were assigned to a poolside room despite our request for a tower room. That we were AARP members should have alone given the staff the clue that we were not throwing a beer bash at the pool. So we get to the room and it's smack dab over the pool. But we did not have time to object and... More
