I took my Uncle here who was a fireman and he loved it. He had visted a couple other Fire museums, but said he had never seen any early horse drawn rigs before. We both had a great time with him sharing stories that the museum were bringing back. If your child likes anything fireman related they will love this... More

This was a very interesting museum! Only took about an hour to get through! Some neat information was on hand! A nice little stop!

Music year olds had a blast. They live all the old fire trucks, and other equipment. The helmet collection was a favorite of mine.

We were visiting our kids and grandkids so we decided to get out of the house and go to this museum. Our 2 yr old grandson loved it! There was a gift shop where he was able to get some firetrucks, etc so he was very happy. The adults enjoyed looking at the memorabilia as well. The staff was very... More

Tons of fire truck/firemen memorabilia that was such fun to see. Very sell maintained and inexpensive to tour. Lots of history in there. Takes about an hour to tour. Well worth it.

I've driven past this museum hundreds of times always with the intention of someday stopping and going in. Well as a last minute driver for a group of senior citizens I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by all the exhibits on display. Out tour guide was wonderful and it was a great experience stepping back in time. I... More

The firehouse museum is a nice local-museum place. It's clean and has lots to look at.... Then again, It's small in size and not interactive. Want to see the area historically through the eyes of a firehouse? Go here. Want high action, entertainment and danger?!? This may not be your choice. If you live in Ypsi, I would recommend knowing... More

This is in a restored firehouse from the 1800s - a beautiful building - and has an array of historic and more modern fire trucks and memorabilia. Fun for kids, and of great interest to adults as well. A small gift shop lets you pick up some firehouse-related toys and accessories, too. There is not parking right outside the door,... More

A must visit and lots to see. Staff was very helpful and shared a lot of info about the museum. Many levels of displays and the old firehouse was great to see. Thanks again.

A great place to show kids how the fire department was in your day from hand pulled to today my nephews 5 to 14 loved it and admission is a donation the only drawback is finding parking
