A nice but small beach surrounded by private property. My visit was on a very warm Sunday of Labor Day weekend so the beach was very crowded. I enjoyed a long walk along the beach below the private homes and any home owners that were...More

Wish I wouldn't have listened to most of the good reviews on here. Really?? I just dont get it. Long walk through mosquito woods for a beach about 50 ft wide from the bank to the water and only about 200 yards in length. Stable...More

Beautiful park, plenty to do and well mapped. However, for having an “off leash dog beach”, there are not really enough signs/posted maps to know where or where not to bring your pooch on or off leash (in my humble opinion lol). The kids wanted...More

$7 to use a beach. No way. Go to Muskegon or other free dog beaches which are even nicer. Between Memorial day and labor day you can go for free, but then at this time of year you can take your dog on any beach.

We went to the south side dog area! It was super clean, quiet and other dog families were fun and respectful. The walk to the beach area was maybe 1/4 mile of clean beauty! Poo bags were provided and lots of trash cans for a...More

Nice County Park with lots of winding trails, stairways and beach access. You can make a long challenging walk or a relatively simple walk through the sand dunes and out to Lake Michigan. Nice views and trails. Dogs are allowed on leash on the trails...More

Yes! The designated dog area is marked and past that point no animals are allowed. During my visit it seemed as if people respected the separate beach area. There are many miles of beach and trails to explore in the area!
