A nice but small beach surrounded by private property. My visit was on a very warm Sunday of Labor Day weekend so the beach was very crowded. I enjoyed a long walk along the beach below the private homes and any home owners that were...More
Wish I wouldn't have listened to most of the good reviews on here. Really?? I just dont get it. Long walk through mosquito woods for a beach about 50 ft wide from the bank to the water and only about 200 yards in length. Stable...More
We drove up to Michigan for a long weekend with family and our two 8-month old labs. They had never been swimming before and we didn’t know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find Kirk Park and to see how beautiful and clean...More

Dogs are allowed on leash on the trails...More

Yes! The designated dog area is marked and past that point no animals are allowed. During my visit it seemed as if people respected the separate beach area. There are many miles of beach and trails to explore in the area!
