Word to the wise...do not plan a wedding reception here in the dead of summer. It all started with an open air wedding in a field...with temps approaching 90 degrees, and full sun...wedding was late, the audience cooked..but I guess that wasn’t the facility’s fault....More

They have an Absolutely wonderful late harvest Riesling. It’s one of my favorites!! I love trying all the different Michigan wines. Stop here if you are in the area!

We enjoyed the tasting, but mostly the knowledgable of the staff of the wine they offered and sold and the surrounding area questions we had.

Visited on a cool day. Pleasant staff. A nice variety of choices to sample. Servings not large, but adequate.

Small and quaint but nice to visit. We enjoyed our stop at this smaller Black Star Farms Winery. The service was great, still the same great wines and loved the smaller atmosphere.

We always stop here for tastings- why? The smoothest and best tasting late harvest Riesling!! Folks are friendly and welcoming at both locations. No exceptions this time. Our server introduced us to the late winter Riesling and we were hooked!! This wine resembles ice wine...More

We went for a tasting and found service to be less than pleasant. The host was friendly enough at first, but apparently grew impatient while we made our selections. At one point, she actually said, "do you want me to take this over for you?"...More

Not at the winery. We ate delicious food at jolly pumpkin old mission. Short distance from the winery. We enjoyed a great day!
