The weather is cool, the shopping is hot and the food is great! Wonderful breezes, goods from all over the world, Italian, Asian, brew pubs, eclectic, fun bars- life is good on Front Street! Can get crowded, especially in July/Aug.

There are many unique and great shops on this street. There are many great restaurants as well. Some have eating areas outside. It's walking distance to the water. Very safe and busy.

Many nice shops and restaurants. We found parking to be pretty easy, although on weekends I could see that it might be an issue. My favorite shop by far was On the Rocks (beautiful items and friendly helpful staff).

Great places to shop, dine and have a coctail. U & I bar is by the far the best kept secret. They have wonderful food. Downtown shopping is great with nifty little speciality shops.

Nice place to walk around eat and shop. Not major designers they are more specialty stores or gift shops. All the restaurants are real nice and have outdoor seating. The smoothie shop was real good too!

Everybody found something to want and buy in multiple stores, from my 4 yr old,15 yr old goth, to my rockin' husband to me. Of course Cherry festival is always going to be busy time of year, but still able to find parking.

Yes there are. Most restaurants have several gluten free options listed right on their menu. I live here, eat out a lot and also have to be gluten free. It is always wise to ask just to be sure. I think Traverse City was... More
