Description:

A day of adventure awaits at the National Forest Adventure Farm, whatever...

A day of adventure awaits at the National Forest Adventure Farm, whatever the weather. You can meet and feed the animals, explore the outdoor Funfield and have fun in the huge indoor play area.

Meet a host of farm animals including pigs, sheep, cows and goats. In the spring and summer you can also bottle feed our lambs. You can cuddle a rabbit or guinea pig and see our more unusual animals such as alpaca, reindeer and chipmunks. We also have daily animal activities including pony grooming, milking demonstrations and egg collecting.

The huge Funfield features a range of have a go activities including Go-Karts, assault course, mini golf, jumping pillow and in the summer the Water Splash Out. Why not take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm and look out for the scarecrows?

The 3000m² indoor playbarn features a huge soft play area with demon drop slides. There's an under 5's area with a ball pit and giant Lego construction zone.

Enjoy eating out or picnicking at one of our landscaped areas on sunny days, or in our airy 120-seat restaurant.

In the summer, the Farm is home to a huge 10 acre maize maze. So take on the challenge of 3 miles of pathways, bridges and viewing towers.

As a Mum of two young children I have done my fair share of Santa visits and Christmas 'specials'. Often it entails a scrawny looking Santa and a lacklustre grotto. Our visit to the National Adventure Farm was nothing like this, a lot of time and money had been spent to make this special. The Santa area was beautifully decorated... More

Nice place to spend half a day with younger children. Lots for them to see and nice interactive sessions with the animals. Staff here are super friendly and they really make you feel welcome. Recommend a visit if you are in the area. Entry is very reasonable too compared to other similar places elsewhere in the country.

What an amazing experience!!! We visited here as a party of four. The attractions were around half an hour each of queuing, which isn't too bad really. We visited all five, which took all evening. They were well done and the actors were fab. It was our first time here and I can assure you, it will not be our... More

Paul, The Screamfest team of ghouls, mutants and general creatures of the night would like to thank you for your patronage and say they were pleased you enjoyed the event. They were disappointed they let you get away, and will look forward to having another attempt at adding you to their ranks next year.... kind regards, Cathy More

I visited with a group of 5 on the 29th October to attend the Screamfest event, never been to something like this before and definitely wasn't disappointed! I thought the ticket price was well worth the money with all the entertainment which was provided! 5 mazes which had a great attention of detail and the actors and staff were amazing,... More

Laura and Wayne, thank you for your kind and constructive review. I'll let the Screamfest director know about the claustrophobic aspect in Children of the Corn. However, there is normally a member of staff positioned down there to assist where need be, so think it was perhaps just unfortunate this time around that they missed your plea. The actor would... Took our 2 yr old & 7 month old for the Halloween day. So much to do we didn't get a chance to do it all and we arrived at 10.30 & left at 4.30pm! Even if the weather is bad there is a fair playbarn plus the indoor animal shed. Only criticism would be the restaurant is not particularly... More

Thanks for a great review. Sounds as if you packed plenty of activity into your day here. Regarding buggies in the restaurant, it was very busy here during the half term week, and we had families doubling up at tables, moving them or pushing them together for larger groups, which meant that movement around was a little restricted. Certainly one... More

A fantastic day was had by the whole family this half term in celebration of Halloween. We arrived at 11.30 and stayed until 5.00. The weather was dry but it was bitterly cold, but the indoor soft play kept the children ( aged 9, 5 & 3) entertained for a good two hours after we had seen all the outdoor... More

This is the first time I have done anything like this as I am quite literally scared of everything so saying I was excited for it would be a complete and utter lie. We got there and immediately an actor on stilts scared me by jumping out on me when I walked through the door. There were 5 mazes... I... More
