Lindy Lou River Cruise with Dan was wonderful, very educational. The Sun Set Cruise with Friends Goodwill had us coming in early because 1/4 of us had 'Barf Bags' spent rest of night in bed sick as heck. perhaps wind was too much, will find out today about a refund. The MARITIME MUSEUM is a MUST! VERY educational, everyone very... More

The "Museum" is basically a gift shop & the grounds plus the immediate surrounding area really are not very well kept. The sailing ship wasn't going out the day we were there...very disappointing. Save your $'s & go to downtown South Haven for several neat bistros & shops !

It was a fun trip. It lasted a couple hours and the staff was very good. Ryan and Amanda were very good sailors and very knowledgeable on what to do. The crew asks for help raising and lowering the sails. This is all done by ropes, not motors. You do in fact sail once you are out of the channel.... More

The museum itself is interesting for those that like history and/or sailing. The different boats on display were in very good condition. Kids would find it a little boring unless they sail with you on the sloop Friends Good Will. It is interactive in that guests can help with setting sails. Great view of the West Michigan coastline.Tip; If you... More

The 4 year old and 7 year old still talk about their ride on a pirate ship. The water was a little choppy, and the rocking and rolling made a few passengers queasy. Seating is very limited. I think the pirate ship and securing the treasure would have been better if the "pirates" had been dressed in costume and resisted... More

It was nice to explore and hear all the stories about ships that went down in Lake Michigan. Great resources and a nice gift shop.

Took our family of 16 on the tall ship Friends Good Will, a replica of an 1812 sailing sloop. What fun! They put the guests to work raising and lowering the sails. So fun to be out on this ship on beautiful Lake Michigan. This ship is docked at the Museum. Museum also interesting to tour. My husband and I... More

Well kept, little museum with a lot of information. The displays are very well presented with lots of information. There several buildings to visit - each with a slightly different theme. Main building was about shipwrecks and an airplane wreck, another on the Coast Guard, and one on knots. They offer a couple of choices for actual boat trips. The... More

We came for a boat ride with two small children so we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to explore the museum, but it looked like a good place to spend some time.

Small Museum, but, very interesting. We went on the Lindy Lou boat ride and loved every minute of it. Highly recommend! Thank you for the nice afternoon.
