My husband and I have done these stairs once a year for twenty years! They just re constructed these stairs within the past four years...well done! Once you get to the top, and your heart is beating out of your chest take in the beautiful...More

Well, some say this is 200steps, some say 300...well made stairs leading up to a nice lookout area....view of the town of Saugatuck and beyond. Look the other way and it’s Lake Michigan. You can continue down the dune to the lake, but it’s a...More

302 steps to the top of the park. Do you take the challenge? Wow, what a climb to the top of the Mount Baldhead. It was very windy and raining when I reached the summit. Couldn't stay long. Took some picture and headed down. Nearby...More

There were actually 303 steep steps up to the top. But there was a bench about every other flight of stairs to rest if needed. The view was as nice as I expected. Too many trees blocking a lot of the view.

It was a very hot day, but the sweating was worth it when you reach the top. Beautiful views. They do have areas on the way up for you to sit and rest if needed. My calves were sore the next day so it was...More

I am very out of shape. Not easy to complete the climb. (also cancer survivor, so not normal physical specimen) Once at top, summer tree foliage blocked what otherwise would have been spectacular views. I'd suggest trimming trees, or perhaps adding... wait for it... MORE...More

The 300+ steps are steep, so take your time unless you are more fit. Stop at the landings to rest (most have benches), but also look around - you may spot woodpeckers and other wildlife along the way. The view of the town and river...More

You can take Haim link ferry here instead of driving and walk a bit to stairs. 300 was tough but kids liked it. Museum at bottom of stairs small but great content telling about history of Saugatuck. Nice trip to spend a couple hours.

We were two 60s couples. We all climbed the 300 + steps to the top. The girls went down the dune to Oval Beach then climbed back up. The boys waited, as they didn't want to go up and down the dune in the sand....More

Great exercise! You can do it if your not in shape but you will want to rest often on the benches. I wouldn't recommend if you have severe heart problems or bad knees to climb straight up stairs. Very nice view of the area when...More

we're working on some new Mt. Baldhead designs at Landsharks this summer. We've sold several in the past - not exactly "I climbed Mt Bladhead" but some great designs.
