We took our 4 year old grandson. He had a great time with all the different activities. Building blocks, of all sizes, an ambulance with a stethoscope and a stretcher, a dinosaur puzzle/excavation, an active volcano... we had to promise him we would come back in order to get him out

Friendly staff, lots of fun activities for the kids. I would recommend the art gallery that is free and within walking distance after/before as well! Near the water in a nice part of town.

A family day out including a ride on the adjacent carousel and a pizza lunch half way through the day. The museum is a delight for kids of all ages. Everything is hands on and suitable for children age two to 72! I understand that it is possible to purchase a yearly ticket which is very good value for anyone local.

I am a grumpy grandpa. I will admit that from the start.
I brought my 6 year old granddaughter who has been here before.
I object to their demand to use a QR code and gather all your personal information.
What a pain in the experience.!!!
We were going to walk out when they
Agreed to accept my cash and skip all my personal Information.
It was not crowded at all but they were requiring reservations.

I have a 3 and 7 year old. We wanted to take the kids somewhere because it was hot and decided on the discovery center instead of the kids museum. The discovery center is activity based, and the other one is imaginative play. The disco rt center is fairly small, but adequate for an hour of small kid play. I think a kid over 10 would not enjoy it. The other thing that bothered me is that, while they are not ATSC members (they are ACM), it reminded me of a miniature version of alot of the other science centers we have enjoyed in the past.

My 16 month boy loved this museum so we came here twice during our vacation but we found the admission fee to be a little steep.

OK, I admit it, my wife and I may have had just as much or more fun than the kids. This place is two stories of hands on fun and interaction like you would not believe. You can play in a little boat and pretend you are the Coast Guard. There is a little fake ambulance and firetruck to play in (with flashing lights). Learn about electricity and airflow. Slide down a volcano. Pick apples. Play Grocery store. They have a room with these huge foam blocks that you build ramps with and then roll balls down the track they make. Adult size foam blocks that are like Tetris and you can make or try to make unique creations (I cheated and used my phone to help). And me and my son and daughter used the life size "Lincoln logs" to build a little cabin. We spent hours there and had so much fun. It was hard to get the kids to leave for lunch!!

It only takes 30 minutes to see everything. Disappointed how small it was for $6 per person. The boat exhibit outside was dripping some type of goo- need better maintenance especially since this is a HANDS-on museum for kids. The kids liked the Leonardo activities. It's good for preschoolers, particularly the water table but wont keep their attention for long. It could be improved by having a package deal to include the carousel right next door.

We went here on a colder day in St. Joseph with our two children (ages 2 and 9 months) and LOVED it! Contrary to other reviews, I did not think it was cheap or too simple at all. There was do-it-yourself face painting. A room with huge foam building pieces. A slide. Upstairs was a room of musical instruments. A big fire truck with outfits the kids could wear and hoses they could play with. A bubble station. And more that we didn't even get to. Downstairs they had what I think they called a "toddle farm" =, specifically designated for ages 0-4 and it was so much fun. A water station. A barn with a slide and animals. A chicken house with stuffed animal chickens and wooden eggs. A play house with food. And an area designated for babies and equipped with a good selection of baby toys. So rather than be stuck in the stroller the whole time, we could let our 9 month old to crawl around. They even had a nursing station in that room, secluded for privacy. it was just very well-thought out. We were there for two hours and could have spent way longer had it not been close to nap time! The $6 admission fee was WELL worth it. Wish we had one of these in Ohio!
