Stopped by the Deer ranch. They have about 40 or 50 deer. fawns and adults. You can get close and feed the deer as well as touch them. The only drawback is the smell!! It was pretty ripe, you could really smell the poop :( But, I guess that is part of nature...lol. Reasonably priced ($5.00) and $1.00 for feed.... More

We picked up a brochure from our hotel and upon crossing the bridge headed to Saute St. Marie stopped to check it out. The woman working was extremely friendly and informative. My three teenagers went back with their own money to buy more food for the deer. They were excited to see and feed the deer, which is unusual to... More

A fun place to visit and feed deer up close. We purchased the carrot sticks which the deer seemed to know we had as they followed you around the path. We found the deer to be very curious about the people around and very gentle when they took the food you had to offer. We didn't stay as long as... More

Love coming to feed the deer and see what they add on and change every year. The lady that works in the shop is always very nice. I would have liked to add a picture to this but my phone won't let it happen for some reason.

The Deer Ranch was a fun stop on our UP honeymoon! It was a gray drizzly day, but we still enjoyed it. The deer were still out and begging for food. :) The fawns are darling and the albino deer are incredible. We were here for about 45 minutes. I took off one star because the rocky paths were a... Wife and I are staying at a beach house near St. Ignace for our vacation this year. We've had good times at the Soo Locks Boat Tour and the St. Ignace Deer Ranch. Only negative experience that we've had was on the Pictured Rocks Boat Cruises.

This was a cute place to stop along the way. There are several different large enclosures with different deer in each. Some of the deer are friend and some are not to much. Make sure to buy some apples for the deer to eat. You can probably see everything in the park in about 10 minutes.

We've been coming to St. Iganace for years, and 2015 was the 1st time we've been to Deer Ranch! We've never traveled in that direction before so we never saw it! We've gone 2 times now and love feeding the deer! People working there super friendly! Highly recommend to families!

Our two year old loved it. We probably spent about an hour and a half there. It wasn't busy at the time. The owners were very friendly and nice.
