This is a bit off the beaten path but worth the hunt to find it. The Mackinaw Bridge is in full view day or night. Ship watching can be perfect here also.

My husband and I had a wonderful time there camping. The park was clean and well kept up. Everything was close by but did not feel like you were on top of your neighbors.

My family has been camping here for 60+ years and we love it. We get a site right on the water in the lower campground and the views are amazing. It is a great and relaxing vacation every year. My only complaint is I wish the state would do something about the beach area. It is overgrown with weeds, water,... More

This was our first trip north of Big Mac. The views were amazing with a small child still in a stroller we could only do one of the two options of views offered. Still well worth it!

We accidentally discovered The Straights Park last year, and we regretted we only saw it at sunset. So this year, we made a point to visit again. There are wonderful views to be had of the gorgeous Mighty Mac. The trails to find the views are paved and wide, which is nice. Make sure to have a camera, because you... More

Doesn't get any better than this! Sits on Lake Eerie, has brand new bathroom and shower facilities, walking trails, shady campsites, and friendly staff. We love it here!

Just returned from a weekend trip to this State Park. This has to be an older park. The camp ground is divided into two camp ground; a lower camp ground and and upper camp ground. I originally had reserved a site in the lower camp ground to be closer to the lake. However, and because I have a 28 ft... More

Very nice view of the bridge, although the trees have grown in quite a bit. Sturdy picnic tables with trees for shade.

Nice campground on the Straits. Beautiful view of the Big Mack bridge from the beach. Few minute drive to the ferries to Mackinac Island. Nice faciities - showers, etc.

This is a fantastic campground for RV and tents alike. New bathrooms, lots of water spickets. Great views.
