We brought the grand kids for a visit and they absolutely loved it. It's not big, but they have a pretty good selection of animals and a petting area where the kids can pet sheep and goats. Tickets are inexpensive and they offer a military discount. A good place to spend some quality time with the kids.

I love the train

For the small zoo, it provides the perfect amount of thrill. Make sure you ride the train, it's a must.

Small but Nice Zoo

Not a big zoo by any means. This is probably a 60-90 min visit. Cost is only $5 per person and there are several areas of different animals. We had a fun visit.

Lovely little zoo that won't wear you out but still has plenty of animals to see. Its called a children's zoo but as adults visiting without children we enjoyed it very much - great value at only $5 to get in.

Fun day at the zoo

We love the Prairie Dogs and how they go in and out of the holes. We also enjoyed the Penguins, and birds. The Merry go round and train were enjoyable. The zoo is small, but still very nice for an outing

Excellent place to go for adults and children alike! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Many exhibits and gardens to view. Recommend the train ride! Also, the zoo is great at all times of the year—fun to visit in the Spring and Fall. Zoo Boo is a fun event in October.

I can't believe I never knew it existed

For years, I have passed by this zoo and never knew it existed. We stopped out here because of a Groupon and it was an awesome little zoo. We spent about 3 hours strolling around looking at their variety of animals. The staff is very friendly at all of the exhibits and very informative of how they received some of the animals. If you're looking for something fun to do, this is definitely worth it.
