Beautiful relaxing views, the lady's in the gift shop are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Make sure to pay them a visit and help support the lighthouse.

Interesting history here at Michigan's oldest lighthouse. I was disappointed that I could not climb to the top. Only open to school groups on weekdays before mid-June.

A nice stately lighthouse at the entrance to Lake Huron. It's tall and kept up nicely. Plenty of parking and nice grounds that are kept up well.

So fun to be able to climb the lighthouse and look over the lake. It's a beautiful site and a must see if your in this area. The history of the place is really cool too. They are doing a great job keeping it up.

Yes, but please make sure you have pooper scoop and poop bags, this helps. There are lots of tourists, but the locals like to keep the area very clean.
