lovely place, but compared to Cirque du Troumouse, nowhere near as spectacular or as remote. Too many people, too much litter, hotel spoiled the view. I guess it keeps the majority of people in one place, which is easy to get to.

We visited in early June. It was Pretty deserted but I can see this Place being crazy in the summer. Be prepared for a good hike up to the hotel and then you can climb Further into the "Cirque" itself. Breathtaking...

Do not miss!!!! Thw shoet winding ride is unquestionable: Do it and you'll thank yourself. Watch for bicycle riders and stop at Pont Napoleon on the way.
