This is a great park and beach. There are no fees to pay either. Caution though if you are on a motorcycle because the sand does blow over the road and makes it slippery.

Stopped at the pere on the way back home from a couple days in Muskegon. Water is beautiful but was very cold the day we where there. Walked out to the light house. Had a little snack shack and a bathroom. All you need.

Yes you could access it as there is no fence or gate of any sort. I was there very early for yoga :)

There are foot showers at the beach to rinse off feet. Also bathrooms at the beach in soon to be renovated bathhouse, but no showers yet.
