Park area clean and well kept. View was colorful, watched kayaker's struggle in lake superior. Rock formations were just gorgeous.

Must see! Worth the drive if you're staying further away. Take sunscreen and bug spray, light jacket. Just don't miss it

So much more than just a pretty drive - best to do a little research ahead of time to make the most of all there is to offer along the way.

Our tour was at noon time and the sun was overhead. I would advise anyone to go as early as possible so the sun would be shining on the rocks to better show the colors. The boat ride was good and our captain and crew...More

Hike at Pictured Rocks twice a year. This trip we hiked the Beaver Lake trails and stopped at the Coves camping area. Gorgeous area with amazing outcroppings, caves and of course Lake Superior. You arrive at the west end of 12 Mile Beach. The Coves...More

Take a 2.5 hour r/t boat cruise from Munising. It's beautiful! You can also rent a kayak or hike from above.

Scenic views are awesome! Hiking was pretty muddy, but worth it when you got to the lakeshore! Our favorite campground was Little Beaver Lake. 8 primitive spots right near the water. So beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We got there at about 11:30am and got a...More

I was under-impressed with this National Park because the 'pictured rocks' themselves didn't seem that spectacular to me. I've visited many National Parks in the lower 48 and Alaska and this place seemed just so-so in terms of scenic beauty although it does have geologic...More

Hello travelers, I wanted to know if there are hikes that can be done in the day. I am not interested in doing the cruise much as i feel i will be able to see and feel the land more on foot. I am planning to travel by May end. Please share any information. Thanks.
