This temple which is almost 800 years is one of world heritage site. The temple is in the form of chariot with 24 wheels and drawn by 7 horses. Many of the horses and some of the wheels are lost in time. Even the main temple has fallen down. But what ever left is with so many details... Worth a... More

Awesome Temple, solid construction of ancient stone/bindings. Figurines and sculptors are on the Khajuraho mold, beautiful, evocative and explicitly sexy. Have to park your vehicles at some distance and walk to the temple.

It is a World heritage site and must see to know history. My suggestion must take a Guide who will explain as to how and why these were made and destroyed over the time. Good photography and local items also available

What an evening. The Mohiniattam & Odissi recitals were simply mesmerising. Nina Prasad and Meera Das and their teams performed superbly. The ambience of the place is out of the world. If only the lights could have been less colourful and more natural it would have been even better. Numerous mashals for lighting and the backdrop of the sun temple... More

This temple, which is now an archeological site is 800 years old and has stood the test of time. Take an official guide, the one we took cost us Rs. 150/- and the visit will be informative. Beautiful architecture and design, but the temple is in ruins now. Still, worth a visit. Once done, head over to the clean beaches... More

I have visited this place twice and is in love with the architecture. The temple is dedicated to the Sun god. Most of the temple is in ruins but even then its worth visiting. The sculptures depicts various excerpts from Kamasutra and daily life activities. It would roughly take 2 hrs to fully enjoy this place.
