1.5 hours on the bamboo raft with the raft moving really slowly. The guides did not try to engage us in any conversations at all. What we understood from others was that they will only speak if we tip them well before the bamboo raft trip. This is illegal and therefore the boatmen will usually get the inland tour guides... This is not so much a rafting trip as a ride on slow moving waters on a bamboo chair on top of a bamboo raft. Guides will not speak unless paid by everyone on a particular raft. Only Chinese is spoken.

The rafting experience of about one and a half hours is quite pleasant but there are many rafts leaving at the same time so it is not so tranquil. Each raft takes 6 people. The boatmen ask for RMB20 from each passenger for a commentary, which is overly expensive for what you get for it. It is only in Mandarin.... More

Wonderful scenery as you drift down the river. Can feel a bit crowded but just relax, enjoy the scenery and join in with the general excitement.

We have done a lot of rafting of that kind but this is for sure one of the best! Spectacular landscape, very nice river and you feel really safe. The tour last 100 min and is part of the ticket to the parc!

The raft takes 6 passengers with 2 boatmen. A tip of 20Yuan ensues a commentary in Mandarin of the sights as you float down the river. A vivid imagination is needed as mountains and rocks start resembling animals and even body parts. Relaxing, cool and de-stressing as scenic vistas unfold as we float around each bend of the river. Be... More

The tour took about 1.5 hr. 6 passengers per boat. Very relaxing, beautiful scenery. Mostly calm water, but here and there your shoes might get wet, but you can buy covers (1RMB|) for this, if you don't buy them, you still will be fine. There are two men needed to row, who know all the ins and outs about the... More

This is one of the most popular attraction of WuyiShan. They are many people but the river is large and you do not feel congestion although you are not alone in this attraction. It is about 1.5 to 2 hours trip. Very nice Landscapes and WuyiShan Mount views.
