I guess when one is in this area, one stops to see the World's Largest Weathervane. One wonders at that designation. How do they know? It's an impressive structure, as weather vanes go. (My spell checker says it's two words -- weather vane.) And the...More

I have never seen a weather vain that large before. It was beautiful and looked like it was just polished.

It is big piece of iron with nice landscaping around it. It is a landmark in the area in Montague just past the bridge to Whitehall

Sitting on the major streets corner in downtown Montague sits a giant working weathervane. It is a magnificent site and a real tourist attraction. Watch it move when the wind blows. Amazing!

It was nice, but it was just a big weather vane. I have been there several times with friends and family. There is a shop where you can purchase weather vanes.

Impressive working sculpture...nice way to put Montague on the map! Stop and walk around it, then pick up any items on your grocery list at the grocery store.

Stopped with grandchildren just because it was the world's largest weathervane. Surprise! My 8 year grandson took a real interest. From that point on he pointed out any weathervane he saw! Ice cream stand nearby - bonus.

At the edge of the bike trail by a campground. This is supposed to be the largest in the world. There is a grocery store and ice cream parlor next to it.
