The thing I hate about Metroparks is how they nickel and dime people. Buy the pass- get in the park. Waterslides, golf, disc golf- all extra. I really can't recommend coming here for 4th of July unless you like waiting in endless traffic. Cycling into the park is fine though, despite a growing amount of questionable asphalt. I much prefer... More

Kensington Metro Park is a jewel among the various parks in the area. It possesses Kent Lake and has a paved path around it totaling 8 1/2 miles. It is home to a farm and a nature center with miles of walking/hiking only trails. It has paddle boats in the summer and cross country skiing and sledding in the winter.... More

The park is more than 4500 acres of beautiful, hilly terrain. The lush woods are full of woodland creatures, birds will even eat from your hand. There is a nature center. There are lots of trails, all good for walking, hiking or biking. There is an 18 hole golf course, a 27 hole disc golf course, with cross-country ski trails... More

This is a beautiful park. The most impressive part for me is that it has lakes everywhere and a great biking/jogging path alongside the lake. If you use the entrance closest to I-96 exit 151 you'll be closer to the golf course. If you enter via the town of Milford you'll be closer to a water park and a beach.... More

Good fishing spots, kayaking and nature trail hiking for all ages and fitness levels. Beautiful Fall photo ops of trees changing colors and nature.

Instead of the paved trails, I took Wildwing around the lake. Very nice, quiet and sometimes hard to find the trail for all the leaves. There were some solo men walking too, which makes me a bit nervous. Sorry guys.

Whether you are taking your family on a sight seeing drive on a lazy Saturday or Sunday, or taking your children to see farm animals or enjoying a game of golf on a beautiful course or spending a day at the beach, or walking, jogging or biking on a manicured 8 mile path through this beautiful park.....you can find all... Kensington Metropark is a great recreation option for all ages. The nice size lake has both bathing and boating options. The ample green space throughout the park has more than enough room for everyone. The tons of ball fields and pavilions give lots of options. The 10-mile bike/skate/walking trail around the lake is awesome. There are tons of hiking and... More

Our family has gone to Kensington for many years. We have fished, boated, gone to the farm and nature center and the grand kids have used the water park. The fire works are always nice as are the concerts. There is always tons of things to see and do.
