It seems like every town along the shore of Lake Superior has a maritime museum. This one is in the top three. Lots of displays and information and cool kid activities.

Poorly staffed .when going to the lighthouse you don't get to go up in the lighthouse you go to the first floor and the basement. The Museum was small with nobody around to give you any information. The young man giving the tour was pleasant...More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your Museum and Lighthouse visit. Our museum tour is self guided and any questions can be asked at the museum desk. The Lighthouse is owned by the city of Marquette and guests are not allowed in the lighthouse...More

We opted to do the lighthouse tour along with the museum. You can only view the lighthouse via a guided tour. The property is gated and the lighthouse kept locked up. Our tour guide was wonderfully informative and the granddaughter of a lightkeeper herself. The...More

A great place to ski and snowboard! Reasonable prices and times available to go. Perfect size mountain with lots of varies runs! We had a great time! Look for the "Golden chairlift"

Closed again but still got to wander around & enjoy some of the attractions of this lovely little Lake City with an impressive maritime history ! Get there when it's open !!

$7 for adults to do either the lighthouse or the museum or $12 to do both. Prices as of June 2017. Children are a lower price but unsure the price. It is definitely worth the cost.

The museum is well laid out and after visiting one really understands the area history and the importance the maritime part. What a great visit.
