Short hike, a little steep, lots of steps but worth the view. Absolutely beautiful. You can take your doggie on this trail as well.

It's a good work out to get to the top, but worth every calorie burned. From the top you can see the Dome, white rocks and preque isle harbor. We had the pleasure of seeing two rainbows out over lake superior as rain passed us...More

Pick a clear day to do this hike to maximize your experience. It's super popular on the weekends, and while we didn't do this, it would probably be an excellent one to do early in the morning before breakfast. It's easier to go up the...More

We did this as a final activity after visiting the UP for a week. We almost skipped it and what a mistake that would have been. It turned out to be the feather in the cap of a beautiful week of exploring all things outdoors....More

A good place to hike that is right off the road. No special equipment needed. Well maintained and easy to access. The views on the day I went was foggy, but you could hear the waves crashing below and regardless, the views were great though...More

Depends on the kind of pet doesn't it? If it's a dog, just keep it on a leash and all is well.

Amanda, I did not pay anything, and I looked for a way to pay. I think this is a free park open to the public. Enjoy!
