Historic house with a costumed young woman who will answer questions about this time period. It does not take much time to see this attraction, but well worth the time.

It is always amazing to see Michigan history. Biddle House was just that! There were people in costume and were very knowledgeable about Mackinac Island history!

Staff here are dressed in period costumes and are knowledgeable. Well maintained historic house. Good for a quick visit. Included with ticket to Fort Mackinac.

When you learn that their daughter was the first one buried on the island you can start to relate to this family as real. She was in an accident where she fell thru the ice and survived but perished a few days later of pneumonia....More

This was an extra added free event on to our Fort Mackinac ticket we had purchased. The girls they had working in here seemed to be knowledgeable and will to answer any questions.

This was part of the $68 dollar historical pass that we purchased at Colonial Michilimackinac. By the way there is a family pass and a friend heritage tour. The friend is much cheaper, especially for seniors.

Best part of the tour. Watching the cook in the kitchen and hearing about life back then was really interesting to my girls (aged 17 and 12)

If you have already done the fort on a previous trip.. just buy the cheaper ticket (half the fort ticket price) that just gets you in the smaller historic buildings like the Biddle House... the kids loved asking the period dressed staffer tons of questions...
