The staff was great, our guide led all of the kids on a nature hike through the woods and had them identify several things found in nature and mark them. The child who had the most pictures marked got a prize. They were laid back about letting us come... More

Lots of festivals throughout the year at Fenner. Walking, birding, cross-country ski trails. Neat little store where you can but books, guides, mementos, t-shirts, jewelry, etc. They even have a library in the nature center.

We love the Fenner Nature Center because they offer several little trails to walk around. Our dogs love visiting, even in the winter time. They do provide baggies and trash cans at the start/end of the trail, but I recommend bringing a spare baggie just in case they run out. The center runs many small events throughout the year for... We've visited Fenner many times over the years. This offers a relaxed, educational experience for both children and adults interested in ecology. Lots to do there!

Fenner Nature Center is located within Lansing, and it protects several different types of habitats with trails going through all of them. It's a nice place to take a walk and take a breath of fresh air when you need a break from it all. My girlfriend and I saw a large male turkey on one of the trails this... More

Right in the heart of Lansing, over 4.5 miles of trails through native prairies, marshes, maples, oaks, and something unique to Fenner, A native chestnut grove! Wildlife here is highly acclimated to people, so get up close with the deer, turkeys, and abundant other wildlife. Handicapper accessible trails, picnic areas, a pavilion, and a nature center with live animals and... More

We like to come here for a casual walk. The herb garden is especially interesting to stroll through. Varieties of plants, weeds, trees - and once in a while some wild turkeys - are pleasurable. . Programs or kids are good. My only suggestion here is that portable restroom facilities could - should - be available when tphe building is... More

Always have a good time at the Fenner Nature Center. Have been to the syrup festival and the day of the dead cemetery walk. The staff is knowledgeable.
