Interesting history and gorgeous location along the grand river...easy access from the trial. Wasn’t sure it was open when we happened along it, but it was. We took a tour $5 each. It is also used as a wedding venue...which would be great except limited...More

Enjoyed the tour, learned a lot about thecDodge Family and early Lansing history. To take the full tour you need to be able to climb stairs. In the summer there is no air conditioning so I can be quite oppressively hot inside.

This is a great place to stop for local history. My visit was during the Festival of Trees exhibit featuring local establishments entries throughout the house. It enhanced the experience but the home is very nice on its own.

We held our daughters sweet sixteen here and it was perfect! We had the whole place to ourselves but really only needed 3 areas. We were able to decorate how we wanted and it's just lovely year round. Go in December to see Festival of...More
