After our plans fell though, we decided to try out this zoo. Yes it's still open in the winter: $3 an adult, $2 a child, super cheap. I couldn't believe how many animals were actually still out. It was a very nice 40° day, so...More

The best thing about Potter's park is the size and price. I have been coming here for 40 years. I loved it as a kid when they had half the exhibits, and I still love taking my 8 year old. I like it because it...More

Wonderful place to spend time with your family especially young children. Special events during holidays especially Halloween decorations and Christmas lighting are great attractions.

This was a great family outing! The zoo doesn't have as many exhibits as the zoo in Toledo, Ohio or Chicago, Illinois. But, if you are looking for an intimate experience, Potter Park Zoo is the place to visit.

I was here once before a number of years back, but we had some time to kill so we came through to see if anything had changed. The zoo was much smaller than I remember. I believe it was $5 for parking, and then $11.00...More

This is a cute little zoo that is well maintained. Although the collections isn't large, most of the animals have been rescued and there is lot of emphasis on conservation. The signage was very educational and all the staff we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable.

Great small town zoo. Coming from NYC I can't compare to our larger zoo but the initiate feel, great hands on small animal area and train were highlights.

The Zoo is open year round, and most of the animals can be seen, either in their inside compounds or outside in large containment areas that are designed to look natural. With the weather turning mild this week, I would... More
