A park like this is a balm for the soul. Imagine walking for hours between full-bloom flower bushes, with all those colours and smells... Easy to reach, less than an hour from Zurich, either by car (ample parking available) or public transport, it is worth spending a full sunny morning. For a comic relief, a funny "modern" flowers section is... More

We visited on a beautiful sunny day in the morning. The rhododendrons are beautiful, the water with arched bridges and lily pads is like a Monet painting. Very peaceful and beautiful place. Several people had a picnic with them and next time I would bring a picnic along. This park is well worth the 12 sfr entrance fee.

Beautiful flowers, marvelous trees, charming ponds and a nice restaurant. Take enough time to visit, but choose the right time of the year. Check the homepage for information.

Seleger Moor can actually be accessed with public transit from the main Zurich train station utilizing train S9 (Affoltern), then transfer to local bus #223 (direction am albis Post) to Seleger Moor. This journey will take about 45 minutes. Also, check the return bus schedule as it only runs every hour. Seleger Moor is open daily from 08-18.00 April through... More

a haven of calm and tranquility even in the rain; simply marvellous. I visit every spring and every year the garden seems to get better and better. Bravo.

The Seleger Moor is an exotic natural spectacle with many species of Rhododendron and Azalea. Blossom time is from April until end of July. There are great parks where you can make a tour with a wheel-chair and other smaller paths where it is extremely nice to walk around. Seleger Moor got a donation of around 400 tree peonies which... The Seleger Moor is easy to find in the area, as there are signs everywhere to bring you there. The park is in a bug area where there are rhododendron, azalea and other flowers blooming during the months of May and June. To walk along the main path takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. There are also smooth paths... More

Seleger Moor, located at Rifferswil in Canton Zurich, is best visited during the rhododendron and azalea season of May and June. The extensive park is filled with the heady scent of azaleas. The swathes of rhododendrons are cleverly planted to ensure that there are a variety of differently coloured blooms and that different bushes are flowering at different times. Effective... More
