Peaceful waters full of fish and it's great for kayaking. Reflections of the sky on the water are awe inspiring. I will visit again when I'm in Michigan.

I frequent Sleepy Hollow to trail ride (horses). We also go to enjoy the walking trails and the beach. We have not camped in the main campground, but the spots seem nice sized, with some privacy in between sections. Always clean, always well kept grounds...More

I go to Sleepy Hollow multiple times to camp. It is a great price, all sites have electric and cement slabs. The sites are large enough to accommodate a couple of tents or camper and a tent. Bathrooms and showers are clean and nice.

While tent camping at Sleepy Hollow State Park, we thoroughly enjoyed the sandy beach on Lake Ovid, our shady campsite on the northside of the campground, the children's playground area, and disc golf course. We noticed that the campsites here offer much more seclusion than...More

This park has been pretty much "un-discovered" until the last few years. We come here with our dog almost every day of the year, to hike the trails which are easy and mostly level. Campsites (180 of them) are inviting . Large sandy beach with...More

This is a great state park. The camping sites have trees and brush to provide some privacy. There is a disk golf course which the kids loved. The beach was fine for the younger grand kids. The only issue we had was the north loop...More

This is a nice state park. We come often to use the hiking trails and playground area. The trails are extensive and good for hiking and biking.

Sleepy Hollow State Park is a beautiful tract of woodland with a lovely reservoir full of islands and secluded coves. There is an extensive network of hiking/biking trails and a loop for horseback riding. The facilities are very good and the campgrounds offer a reasonable...More

You can ride the different loops, I would say the shortest is about 40 minutes on a QH and then add other loops to make a day of it about 4 to 6 hours. I highly suggest going to the Island if your horse will go over a decent... More
