If you want fresh produce, this is the place to go. Just make sure that if you are not one that likes crowds; to get their early. By noon, there are literally thousands of people and parking is getting tough. They are working on getting the old bowling alley adjacent to it, refurbished to extend the Farmers Market on Bank... Every Saturday (at least during the summer months), this location hold a farmers market. Some vendors sell crafts, others offer prepared foods, and the remainder sell fresh meats/produce. I've not been down here the past couple years (always seem to be busy on Saturdays), but was able to make it here last month. There are now food truck vendors that... More

I enjoy going to the farmers market every Saturday with my young ones. They have a wide variety of fresh produce grown locally and a array of different vendors selling baked goods and home decor. I attended the nite market in July which I think they hav another one coming up in mid August. This place reminds me of a... More

There's always something that isn't available at chain grocery stores. Although it's disappointing to see farmers buying produce from out-of-state to sell, given Michigan's late springs, there wouldn't be much locally grown for them to sell until July. Lots of odd items, too, such as home-baked dog biscuits, wood crafts, potted plants and herbs to grow at home, and delicacies... More

A trip to the Kalamazoo Farmer's Market is a great way to start the weekend. Lots of options and different vendors - you can find a variety of produce and other food items for a reasonable price. The ready-to-eat food trucks are also great - I'm a big fan of La Guatamalteca taco truck. There are also a variety of... More

We went to the Bank Street Farmer's Market for the first time this morning and were pleasantly surprised with the size and variety of items being sold! Of course there were a lot of fresh fruits/veggies but there was also baked goods, flowers, soaps, hula hoops etc. being sold. There was a gentleman playing an accordion at one of the... More

From fresh produce (mostly local) to live entertainment to handmade crafts created by local artisans, our intergenerational family found it an entertaining way to spend Saturday morning. People are friendly and prices are reasonable. It's the real deal old-time farmer's market from "back in the day." It was a joyful experience, and I walked away with great crafts and delicious...
