As first time skiers this was a great place to visit. Everyone was so helpful from the box office to the ski instructor. There was 6 of us in our party and everyone had a blast. I strongly recommend going here especially if it's your first time skiing!

We had bosco sticks with the cream cheese out of can! Than we split a burger which was just okay, you go to watch the slopes more than the food! THe waitress was friendly & attentive but food is below my standards of eating out! I can go to Gordon foods & do the same! I recommend just socializing over... More

First time for my boys to go skiing. They loved it and are ready to go back. Swiss Valley is a great place to learn how to ski. Runs are not steep and fast. Lots of open area and a up hill at the end of the bunny slope in case you get out of control.

We went on New Years Day just a couple hours before closing. The snow was man made but still a blast for the kids, maybe even more so since it was freezing cold. Almost all the regular runs were going. We took two kids from Vietnam and they had a instructor who was great and very patient with them both.... More

Filling chili at the Chalet. Bells Two Hearted Ale on tap. New water cooler for a quick fill up. Burgers look pretty large.

We spent most of a day at Swiss Valley this past weekend. The staff at ticket window, lifts, cafeteria, etc. were all friendly, helpful, considerate and efficient, making the day there enjoyable. They have a very well run kids program called Valley Kids, which I prepaid and reserved online, and when I arrived at the lift ticket window I was... More

This place is not very big but it is a lot of fun. There is a cafeteria and a restaurant. We don't ski there as often as we did before our kids went to college but it is always a family friendly atmosphere.

We go often as it is a short drive. Great runs with several chair lifts. Something for everyone. The food is really good too!

As a Floridian, skiing is not something that I have done much of. I've actually only done it once before my trip to Swiss Valley. We drove the 2.5 hour drive to here from Chicago. We used the "Discover Michigan" coupon that was on the website and we were able to get a ski rental, bunny hill, and group lesson... More
