We went to pine mountain, expecting to just drive up to the top, and climb the ski jump. There is no signs showing that this can be acomplished, so we parked the car and took the stairs. You will get a workout from these 500 stairs. They were kind enough to put in benches, and number each stair. When we... More

We visited Pine Mountain early in the day. Our plan was to visit the bottom, drive to the top for the view and then move on. However, once we were there the kids immediately started climbing the stairs so we ended up climbing the 500 steps to the top. It was well worth it, as the views were incredible and... More

We did not climb any of the stairs. Not the 500 to the top of the hill, and not the addition ones up the the jump. Not much to see if you don't climb the stairs. At least I assume it would be an inter sting view. We did not get out of the car.

Four of us had different things. All items were outstanding. Upfront salads were good size. Although our appetizer came out with the salad, we didn't feel rushed through the entire experience. They had great bread :). Will definitely go back here when we visit again.

Our family of four had a pleasant afternoon picnic and incredible views from this high point. The newer Veterans Memorial and picnic shelter are great additions to this lookout point. For an ever greater view climb the ski jump if you dare!

When at a training event in Iron Mountain, some co-workers suggested Pine Mountain for supper. The food was really good, the staff were very helpful, the facility was nice, and I paid less than I expected for the experience.

We drove to the top or back side of the ski jump to view it. Although it was an ugly day, it was still a great view. Did not do the 500 steps. War memorial is nicely done.

Park at the bottom and climb the 500 steps to the top of the hill. View is worth it, climb the additional steps to the top of the ski jump!

The Pine Mountain Ski Jump was very close to the Edgewater resort we were staying at and offered great views from the summit as well as history of the area. It also has a war memorial well worth visiting. Watch for deer as you drive up.
