Just made a short visit to the park. The beach was very nice. Very clean and well maintained. When we were there it was so windy and a bit cold, so we did not stay for too long. Would love to come back one day and enjoy the water and the sunset.

We stayed on the beach side of the State RV park. We parked in a parking lot but we had full hookup. Also was nice because we didn't have a sand problem. The beach is right around the sand dune. The park rangers were always driving by, very safe.

Always so romantic to see the sunset at Holland State Park! We went here on our very first date and love to come back summer and winter. The Big Red is a cute lighthouse ! Lake Michigan has many beaches and lighthouses but this is one of my favorites!!!!

During our visit to Holland in Tulip festival, we visited the beach park along with family and friends. Ample parking, good facilities and clean beach and a beautiful light house, all together a great place to spend few hours. Kids will absolutely love this park.

Just a warning for tourists; most businesses in this area do not open until Memorial Day, so there is very little to eat, do, or shop for until then. Some don't have Closed signs, either, so we rattled a few door handles before we decided to leave the area.

Awesome , do not miss the sun set at the State Park in Holland. Sandy beach, a causeway allows you walk out to the end of a channel and watch boats come and go. Here is the Coast Guard cutter returning.

We Loved the Cabin. It was cozy and very clean. There are no cooking facilities or plumbing but there is electricity. A mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. You could use a hot plate if you bring one. Water is across the parking lot and the vault toilet is near. There is a fully plumbed restroom and shower... More

I have been there twice and wasn't disappointed. I rather have a calm, and not so busy beach, than what I expect on the lake shore of Chicago.

We were in the area and read the information about the Big Red Lighthouse. It isn't that far of a drive from downtown Holland. We took the advice and went to Holland State Park Beach and took pictures of it from across the water. It had information posted and was easy short walk to be across from the lighthouse.
