this visit was marked by the peacefulness I experience in September. The park at this time is going through a preventive building to stop or at least slow down erosion. Since I've been there (1995) there are 2 rows of camp sits gone due to...More

My husband and I stopped here for a little while, but we are definitely interested in going back again. The breakwater beach seemed to be a good location for swimming and some rock hunting. Unfortunately, it was windy and chilly the day we were there...More

We went here to walk along the beach and look for rocks. We were not disappointed. There were a beautiful variety of rocks here, and a great beach for camping. I can see why this campground is full much of the time!

This park had everything..camping, picnicking, trails, a beach and more. We walked from one end to the other. The water was calm and we saw quite a few swimming. The beach was rocky and I recommend swim shoes. The shore by the campgrounds was steep...More

I want to start off by saying the Park is very pretty. There is a campground, dog beach and other activity areas that are all clean and well maintained. We went looking for the cancellation stamp for the NPS passport, but no one knew where...More

Great park to stop and stretch your legs after a long drive. There are steps down to the beach area. You can walk out on the break wall, many were swimming the day we visited. There are some pretty rocks along the shore, but it...More
