The gardens have Michigan's largest tropical conservatory, featuring several species of birds and butterflies. Take your time browsing the five indoor themed gardens. Explore the four season outdoor gardens, nature trails and boardwalk featuring many sculptures. Three temporary exhibitions are also developed annually.

The sprawling campus of ornate gardens and outdoor sculpture exhibits is a cross between a modern art museum and a botanical garden. I was there in May and the plant life was in full bloom, but I would imagine that it's an entirely different experience...More

The best part of this expansive garden that features sculptures set in natural, woodsy settings is the impressive Japanese garden. Its water features, bonsai, stone paths, and rock work are amazing.

Great place for a business meeting or a wedding. Guests are able to enjoy the beauty of the park before or after the meeting. This place really encourages attendance to your event and makes your business a little more enjoyable.

A little early to fully enjoy the grounds, but exciting for long-freezing Michiganders to finally get outside, regardless. Saw how the new(ish) Japanese Garden is landscaped, sculptures were enjoyable, gift shop is OK, and lunch at Garden's Café not bad (esp if you crave mac...More

This is our second visit to the Meijer Gardens, specifically timed to be able to attend the butterfly exhibit. This alone was well worth the reasonable admission charge. The tropical greenhouses are filled with life, plants, birds and yes butterflies! We visited on the last...More
