Our conference had their annual dinner here at the gardens. Very enjoyable night. The dinner was excellent and of course the gardens were nice to walk around in.

Our conference used this as a reception venue, which was wonderful! From 6:30-8:30 pm we got to roam the grounds and enjoy the beautiful setting. At the time, only the outside atrium and garden was open and it was gorgeous! I didn't get to see the other exhibits but I read the brochures and literature - I definitely want to... More

We made a visit to the Meijer Gardens and it was amazing. They had so many things to do for the holidays. A couple years ago we took a sleigh ride around the Gardens in the evening and looked at all the lit trees. That was a wonderful experience. If you're in the Grand Rapids area this is something you... More

The trees and bulb plants were in full bloom this week. We took the tram and had a great, knowledgeable tour guide. I highly recommend taking the tram first, then plan the order of the sights you want to see. The butterfly experience was wonderful! So many activities for children too. The Japanese garden was so peaceful. The sculptures were... More

Such a great experience, I went back again. Took people who had not been previously, or not in a long time. So impressive and beautiful!

Haven't been to Meijer Gardens in years. We went during the time the butterflies were there...beautiful! Spent alot of time out of doors as well, the Japanese Gardens are amazing, cherry trees were in bloom as well. Walked through the sculpture park, not my favorite part but also very interesting.

My husband and I are from the Metro Detroit area, but make trips out to Grand Rapids pretty often, as we're huge Hockey fans, and we go to see the Griffins play when we can. My husband and I happened to stumble upon these gardens while looking for stuff to do in the area, and I can't believe we've never... More

These gardens are incredible! The indoor spaces feature unique artistic creations but most impressive is the butterfly garden. The space is mesmerizing and vibrant with life and color. The butterflies are beautiful and lively, you could spend hours in this space. The grounds outside are also wonderful, with easy walking paths between distinctly different garden locations and paths. There is... More

I've visited the FMG for multiple events. From concerts outside, to my favorite - Christmas Trees from around the world. FMG is a great place to get lost in on an afternoon. With butterflies and botanical gardens, to weddings and receptions, you cannot have a bad time here.
