I am not a history buff. I knew nothing (and cared nothing) about Gerald Ford. I tagged along to this museum because my dad really wanted to go. It turns out, Gerald Ford had a pretty interesting life! The museum itself is in a lovely location on the river, and it's a very pretty and well done building. I read a... More

As Presidential Museums go, this one is not overly spectacular, a lot like Ford himself. He was the only U.S. President who was never elected. He was a profound and decent man and the museum reflects this side of him. Both he and his wife are buried on the grounds.

OK, he was not out greatest president, as he was not elected and lost to a wimp. But he was a very good and principled man. And he had a terrific wife. The facility is well placed, in the heart of a great city, and on a pretty stretch of the Grand River. It is a good facility and documents... More

Very nice,... We really enjoyed the Muesum. President Ford deserved such a place to honor his life service. I would recommend this museum to everybody, President Ford was such a deserving servant of the people.

If you haven't been to the Gerald Ford Museum lately, go back and see it again. It was recently renovated with new exhibits. It will be well worth your time.

Great Museum, very informative and learned some things I didn't know previously. All aspects of the President and First lady and the history of their lives before and during his presidency. Sits on a beautiful park and right downtown, so easy to get to.

The Ford museum recently reopened after being updated. They did a great job! It feels more spacious, there is easier flow of movement inside, and wonderful new exhibits - many of which are interactive. I had been to the museum pre-renovation - it was OK but the renovated version is a significant improvement. Parking is readily accessible (a bonus for... More

We have made it a point to visit the 13 presidential libraries so someday we would be here. The museum had just reopened after a remodel and was very informative. Always interesting to learn more about the (so far) men who have lead the most powerful country in the world. The exhibits included much reading and not as many large... More
