Description:

A series of exciting changes to this scenic course in the Hiawatha National...

A series of exciting changes to this scenic course in the Hiawatha National forest will make for enjoyable rounds. The course opened in 1940 and expanded to 18 holes in 1988. Recent improvements have made the hilly challenge much more player friendly. Large, undulating greens and tree-lined fairways on this magnificent 6,500-yard layout provide for a glorious time. Five holes caress the Days River. A delicious Friday night fish-fry is offered. A PGA professional is on staff, and a large, renovated practice facility is available.

While searching for a golf course that was in between Paradise, MI and Escanaba, MI my husband and I came across Gladstone Golf Club and with using GolfNow we were able to get 18 holes / cart for $10.00 each, which was a real bargain. We found the gentleman at the counter extremely pleasant and very helpful in giving us... More

Great challenging golf course with beautiful views, deer, and during summer months and into Fall serves an outstanding fish fry in the clubhouse. (Prime rib too)

This golf course is very beautiful and challenging. We used golf carts as the course is very hilly. We played a leisurely round of golf and then visited the restaurant for their Friday night fish fry. The bar was hopping and the restaurant was full. The food was excellent with several choices of fish, both grilled and fried. Wait staff... More

We would have given this course a 5 except that many of the greens had suffered winter damage. Loved seeing the deer on eight of the holes. Rough is not that punishing, although you are constantly playing uphill/downhill lies. Great hole layout markers, often two per hole. Course and cart paths well maintained.

This course was one of three we played on Labor Day weekend. Deer were on several holes and the scenery was beautiful. The purse is tree-lined with many holes having elevation differences. For those of you who hit a little crooked, Bring lots of balls!

I golf here several times a week and always enjoy the wildlife and scenic views. The course is hilly and has river crossings on both nines. It will challenge new comers. The staff takes very good care of this course. Club house is pretty basic but spruced up lately. Food is average for lunch but a nice Friday fish fry... More
