This is a very Beautiful Church. I spent about a hour inside the church just looking in awe. I just wish I could of been their for Easter services.

We were amazed by the care given to the grounds and the beautiful historical windows. It was a great half-hour part of our trip.

We were not impressed by the fact that self tour is the only option. The murals and stained glasses are your run of the mill church thing present in most churches. There were no explanatory signs. Parking lot was full of loads of filth.

Despite the tours being shut down based on Covid we were able to gain access and the place was incredible. Stained glass windows and murals are amazing

Truly an educational experience especially for those interested in learning the individual stories of our states military/space heroes. Displays are very detailed and informative. A variety of models, photos and artifacts are included in the exhibits.

This St. Lorenz Lutheran Church was founded in 1845 by German immigrants who came to Saginaw Valley.
Church on Sunday is at 6:00 and 9:30 A,M.
They have a cemetery.
They have stained-glass windows.
The cross is at the very top.
They also have lots of flowers.
The organ is beautiful!
They have a tower and a steeple.
The church was built with red bricks.
It is gorgeous!
Wow!

There is so much history in this church. Visitors are welcome to come in to the main sanctuary and take in the beauty of the custom stained glass windows, the massive pipe organ. It is like a cathedral inside. The beauty inside is somewhat of a surprise considering the more mundane brick structure on the outside. While there take time to walk across the street to the original site. It is all marked out in the cemetery full of those brave Bavarians who came here in the mid 1800s to bring salvation to the local indian tribe. A small cabin is also located there to show you what the original school looked like.

Visited the St. Lorenz church on a recent visit to Frankenmuth. Unfortunately it was a Saturday when we visited and there are no tours of the building on Sat or Sun. However, we spent some time walking around the building - taking pictures and it was quite grand and beautiful. They also had the story of the church on a plaque in the front.
