Fun cheese shop with obviously a huge cheese selection from all around the world, also had chocolate cheese, due to Covid, no samples at this time, however have been in the past and had the chocolate cheese which was very good! They also have many more items to choose from.. dips, candy, cheese shirts and pants! Etc... would give 5 starts but everything is very over priced, although would still return and support smaller businesses.

The Cheese Haus has a lot more than cheese. I don't even like cheese but enjoyed this place. Found a lot of great souvenirs to take home. The staff was really nice and helpful. Got out with a few minutes to spare and found an empty bench to watch the cheese show. It was cute. Since I was on a road trip I couldn't take any cheese home to share with friends, but you can get it online and have it shipped.

A piece of Frankenmuth history, put this place on your must do list while in Frankenmuth. Right in the center of town. Even if you do not like cheese it is still a great place to visit. I did buy a small chunk of white cheddar cherry cheese that was so delicious. So many types of cheese, some more expensive than others. A great shop to spend some time in browsing around. We also enjoyed the German storytelling outside the store, just watch for the little doors to open up & see who comes out!

Somewhat disappointed as I asked if the cheese was produced there and was told no. Also no sampling, pricing was extremely high for the same cheese I can buy locally as theirs is nothing special in ingredients or quality- Wisconsin cheese is pretty darn good too. mustards and meas that were national brands were high also- I know your paying for this place to stay in business and for its staff. My wife still bought $30 of stuff somehow- thats why they call it vacation.

I luv 🧀 cheese so this place was on my destination list. Neat little store sold cheese, honey, wine, socks, shot glasses, t shirts, candy and more. I got small bag cheese curds @6.00 and a shot glass with mouse and cheese
Would have loved to bought more but was tad to expensive for me. Still a great stop. Took my picture outside with big plastic mouse cheese
There is a cheese truck outside that has grilled cheese and cheese curds etc from store and live music

The atmosphere here is very hodgepodge. I was expecting a more orderly selections of cheese. However, Cheese is actually only a small part of the business. There's 3 small bin areas of variety of cheese. I've been to cheese shops near Middlebury and Shipshewana in Indiana and they had rows of Cheese in a large quantity. I was expecting that. There seemed to be more of an emphasis on variety cooking products.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The cheese was excellent.

Overall a 4 star review. Even with the hodgepodgeness, it was a fun place. Would I return? Yes. Lastly Shout-out to J.N. Chaney's Backyard Spaceship Series, which mention Frankenmuth and Cheese Haus. Icky and Funboy are huge fans.

Store had lots of samples to try and a great variety to choose from. The chocolate cheese, yes, I said chocolate cheese, tasted just like fudge. Left with their Creamy Blue Cheddar Cheese Spread and a box of the crackers they use with their spread samples. Will visit here again if we’re ever in the area.

I can't ever pass up a cheese store. This one was fun and had quite a variety. But I'm thankful I didn't buy much, as I was disappointed with 2 of the 3 cheeses I did buy! The mixed cheese curds had no taste, and a poor texture. The cucumber dill cream cheese dip also had no flavor. The port wine cheddar spread was very tasty though.

In short, there are a lot of other cheese stores throughout the U.S. that I've been to that have had better tasting cheese and even more varieties. So while this was a good stop on my Frankenmuth shopping trip, I wasn't overly impressed with the cheese that I bought. My review shouldn't stop you from going in, but maybe be pretty selective about what you buy, and don't over-buy.

This is an amazing store with literally something for everyone. So much cheese and things that go with cheese from kitchen gadgets, wine, cutting boards, etc. The chocolate cheese was Delicious, definitely recommend.

Anytime you are in Frankenmuth, you need to stop at the Cheese Haus! Don’t forget to get your picture with Klaus, the mouse statue in front of the store. 👍

If your looking for a type of cheese they probably have it at the Cheese Haus! Excellent variety, a little bit pricy, but a great variety. If your in the Frankenmuth area a must stop in and check out the cheese. Just wish they had a bigger variety of sausage to go with the cheese.
