Great Local Golf!

This course is a good value for the money and is challenging enough. I usually play just the front 9 but the back 9 is equally as nice. I like to walk the course so I almost... read more

This course is a good value for the money and is challenging enough. I usually play just the front 9 but the back 9 is equally as nice. I like to walk the course so I almost never rent a cart. Stay on the fairway or you might lose your ball because the grass off the fairway is usually quite... More

My husband likes this course better than I do. It is well maintained and the staff is usually helpful but the women's tees seem like an after thought. They are out in the middle with nothing around them. They were clearly placed without input from women golfers.

Tyrone is a very friendly and enjoyable course. The fairways are well maintained as well as the greens and there isn't a boring hole on the course. Challenges will keep you on your toes but the course is far from intimidating. I've never felt rushed there and the food and cart service is very, very good. It's affordable and I... More

Tyrone Hills is a decent course that moves at a very good pace. Once you get past the first three holes things really speed up.

You can find more challenging golf courses, courses with higher green fees, fancier clubhouses, or ones with caddies, GPS carts, or limited tee times for public play. But if you're looking for a well maintained course at a reasonable price that you'll want to play over and over again, check out Tyrone Hills.

Tyrone Hills is right off of US-23 as you head up North, and I have played this course many, many times. Tyrone is definitely one of the easier courses to play because there is a lack of trees, water, and sand traps. There is really no rough to speak of and they keep the entire course mowed. Many of the... More
