Last spring, I took my niece to visit the Broad Museum. I found there to be not "art" of any merit with these walls. The exhibits were disorganized and most ost of the exhibits were stark and did little to make one want to come back. They were also very inappropriate for young children. She was rather frightened by most... More

A most interesting place for exhibiting art. However, the galleries are rather oddly arranged. Exhibitions are varied and by and large contemporary art; not all of which will be interesting to all visitors.

The "art" displayed in this museum is strange, which I have no beef with. However, there were a few exhibits on the second floor (which contains "mature" subject matter) that were over the top crude. And what was the deal with the clothing lined up across the floor? And that room with the bright green wall & the giant red... More

The building is stunning and very interesting to see from the inside. The collection, well that leaves one hoping for another wing or floor. To be fair, the first floor is under renovation to prepare for the next collection, due to open next year. The 2nd floor collection is from mostly Asian artists and as others have noted, not exactly... More

Located downtown across from MOCA , the new Broad is worth a visit . The collection is excellent and well curated. Seeing the storage as you walk down the stairs is just amazing. Save time to go to MOCA as well.

Beautiful building and excellent access. The current displays of contemporary/modern art, I believe barely qualify to be called art. Displays of menstrual fluids. Gross out crap. Get off the drugs and try real art. Shock art doesn't cut it.

Part of the museum was closed so we only saw the Chinese women artist exhibit which was not my cup of tea at all.

You might be wondering why the evaluation was "Poor" if I say it is "Worth every penny". Well, that's because it was free. Visiting the museum has been on my to-do list for a long time and we finally had a window of opportunity prior to a recent MSU football game. We allocated plenty of time to enjoy the museum... More

Very nice modern art museum on MSU campus. The building itself is a piece of modern art. This museum has two floors of displays and the basement is used for learning and other museum business. The art work was thought provoking and might not be suitable for young children.

A must visit when in East Lansing, or visiting Michigan State. We stopped by and viewed the current art exhibit. I must say it was quite interesting.
