We have been to the Wharton many, many times and each time has been an outstanding experience. This is a beautiful, large theater that accommodates everything form a large performance to an intimate one. On Valentines Day 2017 we saw Jarrod Spector and his wife Kelli Barrett perform their show of love songs. Jarrod is best known for his performance... More

Nice theatre on MSU campus to catch a show. They recently added parking to make it easier to get to. Nothing super fancy, but does what it should.

A great, accessible space to see a play, concert, or host an event. Glad we have such a nice theater locally, drawing in international acts.

This was my first time at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts on the campus of MSU. It is a large auditorium with a large main floor and balcony. I has no center aisles, like a few other venues I have attended and it makes it quite annoying for someone 45 seats or more over to keep passing in front... More

Live theater experiences are superb in Lansing! On MSU campus so parking connects to the theater and food options are close and numerous. Comfortable seating that is close to the stage

I went to see Riverdance here with my family. I loved the show. The sound was great, the view was great even though we were fairly high up. The concession stand was good, not much to choose from but still good. Very nice place, we got in and seated fast, didn't have to wait very long and everything seemed to... More

We took two grandkids to see Matilda and the play and the venue were both wonderful. All the ushers were so friendly, loved the $5 parking option. Our seats were in the 3rd row, right side and it was so fun to see the kids' faces as they sat mesmerized by the performers.

The Broadway Shows at Wharton Center are something to look forward to every year. Our area would not be the same without Wharton Center!

We have seen many musicals and plays at the Wharton Center, and the sound and sight lines are teriffic from anywhere in the house. Performances by the Lansing Symphony are scintillating in this venue. We have also enjoyed Jazz performances, as well as an eclectic variety of other shows. Parking is easy with a $5 covered ramp connected to the... More

Dr. Wharton was the first African-American president of a major public university. I was an MSU student during his tenure. The Wharton Center is equally ground-breaking. It is a world-class performing arts venue. The seating is excellent! The performances range from Shakespeare to Seinfeld. Throughout the year - even during summer break - there are performances for all ages and... More
