Still standing as of April 2017. When we arrived we saw one gentleman, perhaps the original artist, working with paints on the street when we drove in. It was easy to find as there are a number of eye catching items before you even hit Heidelberg Street. Inspiring project to see in an area that has so many vacant, burnt... More

Always changing, this may be already gone, but folks come from around the world to see this artists' rendition of artistic recycling by decorating abandoned homes.

Don't waste time here unless you are staying nearby. The quality of work is OK but nothing outstanding.

Great experience to see what's left. Took the kids in the middle of the day. Great experience to show them some found object artwork. Ask them questions and see their response. It's worth stopping to look around. Don't just drive through... so many hidden things.

This is a must see for visitors to the area, such fun art work and creativity right in the city and it is changing as time goes by so if you have already been...go back and be sure to have your camera ready to go

The Heidelberg project has been mostly destroyed by arsonists. There are a few things to see but not much is left. I would recommend that you check out a few pieces that Tyree Guyton has at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Who would think that this urban street art gallery would even be here? A real find, a great community project and for those who love the quirky and creative, this place is for you! One man's trash is another's treasure and this nightmare dreamscape of odds and ends and odder ends is a fun, whimsical and also disturbing look at... More

some of the houses are burnt down and destroyed while others have a haunting feel to them. It makes for an interesting visit. There's a lot you can see from the car.

Well, we visited because it was on the top things to see list for Detroit. It was interesting to say the least. Not suitable for children as there are baby dolls displayed in unconventional ways. It's a must see while in Detroit. There is also an artist across the street who is not part of the project. His name is... More
