Fantastic Romeo & Juliet Ballet. Wonderful concert in this historic building. We'll be going again. Detroit is the best-kept secret!

I have always wanted to see the opera Tosca, and when I saw it was coming to Detroit, I knew it was a must see! We arrived approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. It easily located and parking was no problem....More

First time to the Detroit Opera House for a Christmas concert. Absolutely gorgeous theater that has been beautifully updated. We ended up with tickets on the 3rd balcony. 1) Fine seats, but the stairs were very narrow and steep with no hand rail. Obviously a...More

was there for the 1st time in early December. One of the most beautiful theaters with an excellent acoustics'. The seating was a little uncomfortable, but good. Seating should have been staggered when putting the new ones in. But, enjoyed the beauty immensely.

4 of us went last weekend to see David Sedaris and it was just beautiful. There is so much beauty to take in that words really do not come close.

Yesterday we were privy to a wedding ceremony on the SkyDeck rooftop of the Opera house. They had a great bar set up , a little stage for the nuptials vows, and great view of the skyline. The deck is ample to hold over 100...More

Awesome place - very historic, beautiful inside & out. The ceremony was inside on the grand stairs and the reception outside on the rooftop. Perfect! I suggest anyone go and check it out with views of baseball stadium and downtown on the roof and history...More

How old are the children and his tall? Usually the view from the higher levels are good but it will depend on the ages and height of your children if they will be able to see over the rails or not.
