The towers gleam in the sunlight. People busy going from place to place, working, vacationing, eventing, conventioning, great for people watching. Restaurants, Bars, Gift Shops, GM cars on display, coffee and more coffee. Plenty of places to eat and relax. Wonderful Views on the city,...More

This is a must do. We parked near Greektown for a small fee, had a nice lunch then walked over to GM. It is under some renovation now but is still very ultramodern in design.

My goodness people. SIGNS!!! accurate and strategically placed and lots of them!!! This place is huge. It took the two days we were there to finally get just a basic understanding of how it was all laid out. No good maps. they had a little...More

It is amazing to think that I remember when this building opened in 1977, and it seemed futuristic and sort of a recognizable icon of Detroit. Because of continued attention to upkeep and renovation (most recently by GM), the building is absolutely beautiful inside. A...More

The GM Renaissance center is fairly large! It has a lot of shops and eateries located on various levels. There is also a showroom of some of GM's newest cars located on two levels and in the front gallery. If you get there at a...More

What a mistake. The Ren Cen sits standoffish, all on its own, across Jefferson from the City Center. It's four identical towers are difficult to differentiate unless you have a great sense of direction. Not a fan...never was.

Great interior designs with wide and high sweeping open spaces. It's a quick visit with lots of great photo opportunities. It's right near other important landmarks like Hart Plaza and Joe Louis Monument.

It's fine but the lounge may not be open if you have privileges. Have fun and check out Greektown, worth the walk, might want to cab it at night.
