Stayed at the Marriott so we liked that alot but getting around the actual building by following the signage was quite confusing and the lack of ways to get to stairways at different locations to get you to the bottom floor area was frustrating. We...More

The majestic building is totally free of charge to visit and wander about in. Many things to see - historical exhibits, vehicles both past and present. Walkways and escalators abound, as well as some great waterfront views. Easily accessible by the People Mover elevated train....More

I was looking for a retuarant for lunch and someone mentioned that this building had resturants. It as several fast food retaurants and a really cool car display to look at. I would recommend going just to stroll through the building.

I would consider this a must see if you are near. I feel like I only saw a fraction of all that is there. Prepare to be WOW'ed. It's big and not hard to get a bit disoriented at times. I found it a fun...More

The GM Ren center has a small but nice showroom of both new and classic vehicles. There are restaurants and a few shops here. The observation deck is closed for renovations and is expected to reopen in fall 2018. Building is interesting inside with nice...More

It was good to visit the center. Several restaurants and we did enjoy eating at the Granite City Brewery. Be prepared to walk and yo can find yourself going in circles. The center does have a Detroit people mover that stops there. It's worth going...More

Size is everything? While impressive showroom for GM and very spacious with circular walkways and huge screens showing sea scenes, I was still left kind of wondering what it’s all for. Convenient to catch the people mover here.

I did and it is no longer there. I was pretty disappointed. The best thing about this place wat the carousel of old Chevy trucks. The food court area was pretty neat.

The Center has a couple of places where you get a great view of the waterfront, and there are restaurants/food court, but mostly, if you're not there on business, I don't think I'd get to that stop again.

It's fine but the lounge may not be open if you have privileges. Have fun and check out Greektown, worth the walk, might want to cab it at night.
